A product doesn't start with a 3D model.
It starts with an idea, a sketch, and a series of design decisions that transform a concept into something functional and manufacturable.
For this project, I developed a Desk Organizer starting from a hand-drawn concept, then translated the idea into a detailed 3D CAD model using SOLIDWORKS , and finally turned the digital design into a physical prototype through 3D printing.

✏️ Concept Development
Started with a simple hand sketch to visualize the product structure and define the overall concept.

Built and refined the final design in SOLIDWORKS, turning the initial 2D idea into a detailed 3D product.
🖨️ Physical Prototyping
3D printed the final design to evaluate how the digital concept translates into a real-world object.
🧠 Design Validation
The physical prototype provided an opportunity to assess the form, functionality, proportions, and overall usability of the design beyond the CAD environment.

This project reinforced an important part of Product Design:
Good design is not just about creating a 3D model.
It's about understanding the problem, developing the concept, making engineering decisions, building the CAD model, and eventually validating the idea through a physical prototype.
From a rough sketch → CAD model → 3D printed prototype, this project represents the complete design journey from concept to reality.
