•3D Mold Creator contains elements that allow us to analyze the moldability of our design part.
•3D Mold Creator allows us to automatically create mold parting lines, parting surfaces and tool divisions.
When I was taking the mold design course at the university when they asked us to design a mold, the situation in mold designs with 24-25 pieces was reaching an annoying dimension. Indeed, doing this with xMold is more successful and easier than creating individual drawings. Therefore, I think it is a very important role to be known. If you want to create a pattern, it has a directive on User Assistance and it is as follows;
1. Create a Pulling Direction to define the core and the cavity to pull apart.
2. Create a Parting Line of the model where the core and cavity side of the mold meet.
3. Create Shut-Off Surfaces to fill up any holes or openings in the model.
4. Create a Parting Surface where the mold splits into core and cavity.
5. Create a Tooling Split to automatically split the mold into core and cavity.
