So we wish to catalyze the trend: Designs based on Biomimicry ​​​​​​​

Biomimicry (Imitating the living) takes inspiration from natural selection solutions adopted by nature, and translate the principles to engineering & technology. This approach takes advantage of evolution by nature, which had millions of years to understand what works best and what doesn't, and use these choices for our designs.

This Autonomous Underwater Vehicle from the University of Adelaide adopts the approach of biomimicry in its design.
