Model Mania, is a design challenge where you are measured on both time and accuracy.
You are first given a 2D drawing of a part. Your goal is to create that part in xDesign as quickly and as accurately as possible. Seems simple, right? Well, the second “Phase” is when things get really interesting. For Phase 2, you are given a modified version of that drawing; you can consider it an engineering change if you like. Your goal now, similar to before, is to make the design change as quickly and as accurately as possible.
Q) Where to register?
Q) I am a professional Engineer, An Instructor, An employee, etc can I participate?
The Competition is open to all students enrolled in 3DEXPERIENCE World and in a University / School at the time of entry (the “Participants”).
Q) Which software do I have to use SOLIDWORKS, xDesign?
Every participant will get free access to xDesign & they have to use xDesign to draw the given model.
Q) Where is the drawing?
It's available on the official website named phase1 & phase2 drawing.
Q) Do I have to do the simulation?
No
Q) Do I have to record the video?
Yes, you can use whatever software you want but as a suggestion, you can use OBS it's a free source software.

As you can see in the video I recorded a full screen with the window's inbuilt stopwatch, but why?
To make it fair enough so that other students who hard worked & practice day and night does not feel that I edited the video
