Went from 3DExperience Solidworks student in 2022 to Local Solidworks also student version in 2023 and my old files give a cannot open future file version error when trying to open Why is this and is there any way to access my files

Like the title says. I used 3DExperience last year and my subscription lapsed early this year. I opted to try out the local version this year but I can't open any of the parts or assemblies I made with 3DExperience. I get an error that says "future file version" Which I'm sure can't be true because I'm using the latest 2022-2023 version of solidworks. Am I completely out of luck trying to access my files??
