Weldment Feature

"Weldment" feature in SolidWorks. The Weldment feature is used to create welded structures, such as frames, platforms, or supports. It allows you to create and design complex structural shapes by using a library of predefined profiles or custom profiles.

To create a weldment in SolidWorks, you first create a 2D or 3D sketch of the structural frame or shape you want to create. Then, you add weldment features to the sketch to define the profile, size, and location of the structural members. The weldment feature also allows you to add corner treatments, end caps, and gussets to the structure.

Once the weldment features are added, you can generate cut lists, create exploded views, and run analysis simulations to ensure that the structure is strong and stable.
