Weirdos Demo Team

Hi,
Let me present to you the "Weirdos Demo Team" experience I did in 3DEXCITE apps. I decided to do some kind of interactive brochure of the airshow team, which could encourage people to visit the show.

During the #POTY2020 I had presented my project of forward-swept wings plane, but technically it was one big surface, for this 3DEXCITE project I needed to redesign my project a little, so I made an assembly form its surfaces. I decided to do an air presentation, and firstly I tried to design the background of my project using the Ambience studio "Sun & sky" but after a while inside the app, I realize that the earth from "Planet Studio" should look more "realistic" and it was the first time my graphics card cried :(, but everything worked fine. When the place on earth was chosen, and the assembly was prepared, I started the preparations for my scenario, everything went very smooth, because the software UI is very intuitive. The first and only troubles I encountered were with the animations, because of my computer specifications, the software sometimes crashed when everything was lagging so much. After a dozen crashes, I had realized that I'm able to deactivate the planet environment without any influence on my scenario, and It reduced the number of software crashes by about 90%. After that everything went perfectly until the end.

I see the app as powerful marketing software, but maybe also as a great interactive tutorial for any more or less complicated machines. In my case, it could be used as a VR interactive pilot cabin, with all the information's and programed usabilities of anything inside.

Thanks to the 3DS team for this great opportunity to make that interesting experience, especially @JS @RK for that webinar I watched a few times during making my project, and for the resources gathered in one place.

Thanks to projects like that I'm getting the priceless experience I need for my future career.

Now I'm the VirtualStoryteller
