Hello everyone,
Both with my friends and during work meetings, especially after the pandemic, online work life and webcams have become an essential part of our lives. However, there are many people like me who use DSLR cameras instead of webcams. Some of these camera users either buy table tripods, create their own tripods through 3D printing, or simply purchase regular tripods to place on the floor. Instead of building my own tripod, I wanted to design a stand that could be mounted on the wall, creating a visually pleasing display while not using the camera and also saving space since I don't have enough space for tripods.
To design this piece, I took the necessary measurements with a caliper and started drawing my design using xDesign. It would be mounted on the wall with two screw connections and would have arms to hold the lens, reducing the front load. As a result, even if the camera protrudes to a certain extent outside of another machine's adapter (I used a different camera as an example in the visuals), it will stay securely on the wall without bearing any load.
After designing the product in xDesign, I wanted to see how it looked with the camera using SOLIDWORKS Visualize, creating a realistic image.
I would like to express my gratitude to the TEKYAZ family and @EB for the training and opportunities provided to design these products.
See you in the next part design.
