Universal Joint

            I am thrilled to share with you my design for universal joint it is a mechanical connection between two rotating shafts that allows for transmission of torque and rotary motion, even when the shafts are not in perfect alignment.

 

Parts

  1. Yokes
  2. Cross or Spider
  3. Bearings
  4. Snap Rings

 

            Key Features:

  • Flexible Coupling: Connects shafts at an angle (typically up to 45°).
  • Transmits Power: Transfers rotary motion and torque.
  • Non-Constant Velocity: Unless special designs (like double Cardan joints) are used, speed can vary
