I make the design of two spur Gears in solid works. I begin the study in solid works simulation by some steps
1- I choose the type of study as static study
2- I add the Material of the model as Alloy steel
3- I use the default of connection
4- I add the Fixture as Fixed Geometry, Hinge
5- I use the load as Torque
6- I make the mesh by choosing a stable mesh between fine and coarse mesh
7- Run study and I show the result and Finally I check the Factor of safety
