Today, I wanted to let you know that we are starting to a new adventure this week with my friend from university, my comrade, @UD. In this adventure, we will design our UWB sensor-based Tracking Robot, which we prepared as a graduation project at our university, from scratch on the 3DEXPERINCE platform. In this design process, we will take advantage of every opportunity that the 3DEXPERINCE platform provides us . We will inform you about our progress at certain intervals. Since this article is a start, I wanted to give you some information about the project first.
Our project basically uses UWB (Ultra Wide Band sensor technology) for tracking.Our main purpose in using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology is to use the AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) system instead of the AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) system, in contrast to similar ultrasonic or camera-based tracking systems. In this way our robot can track any target in any unkown environment.
When we did market research, we could not find a similar project in the country. When we expanded our research a little more, we realized that DHL cargo company was trying to develop such a project as a prototype to use in its own warehouses. We decided to make our own robot since there is no finished product yet.
We have done the necessary research and calculations. We created our general structure and also prepared our first draft. We are now ready to start the project on the 3DEXPERİNCE platform.
In the next process, we will first create our own Dashboard and Space and create our route using applications such as Route management.
