#3DEXPERIENCE Dashboards are very helpful. Here is a short cut tip to open and close your Dashboard list.

Click on the Dashboard List icon below left of the blue Compass. Nicknamed the "Hamburger", to close, click on the icon below right of the blue Compass.  

3DDashboard app is also available if you click the blue Compass, scroll down to My Apps and click 3DDashboard.
