My team TEIDESAT just got access to 3DExperience platform a month ago. We cannot wait to take advantage of this tool in order to complete our challenge: Fly_your_satellite.
We are a university students team willing to design and build our own cubesat and fly it with the European Space Agency program for university teams. Our team was born in 2017 in the Canary Islands (Spain) due to some students inquisitiveness of learning more than what we learnt in lectures.
Nowadays, TEIDESAT has almost 40 members from different disciplines like engineering, physics, mathematics, management, journalism, design and art. We are defining the preliminary design of the satellite subsystems, therefore 3DExperience platform is the tool that will allow us to define the 3D models and make the thermal and structural analysis needed.
During the first month of access we have been taking our first steps in the platform: following tutorials and uploading our parts and assemblies. Eventhough we had some technical problems, we solved them all by posting our doubts in this community.
So we are looking forward to continuing working with 3DExperience platform in order to get our one-way ticket to space... :)
