Our goal for this challenge was to transform an indispensable, everyday mass product in such a way that it provides energy for us in a very easy manner. Therefore, we decided to develop a window system that provides sustainable energy with transparent solar cells and feeds it into the domestic power grid or stores it temporarily. Windows are everywhere, they occupy a lot of space and especially a lot of space in big cities - exactly where a high power demand meets few options to green energy to be provided.
But this window can do much more!
- It has daylight-like LED strips to brighten up your evening.
- No more curtains or blinds needed: Gel electric technology darkens the window completely!
- Intuitive operation through integrated touch screen: Configure your settings directly at the window or conveniently via app
- Configure your system as you need it - feed the energy of several windows into one Energy Management Unit (EMU) or into several batteries - for every user a suitable solution with one system
- Available in different colours and finishes!
