Pitch of the Project: 

 All over the world more than 100,000 ship transport 11 billion of goods. All ship works on a fossil fuel diesel engine responsible for producing 1 billion tonnes of CO2 emission. To reduce the shipping sector's emissions, it's necessary to search for alternative solutions. Team SEAWIND work on a container-fitted windsail propulsion solution which works on the Magnus effect. This feasible design of container rotors is easy to place on the ship and remove when required. Ultimately, the rotor helps to reduce up to 30% of emission associated with ships which equal 5000 tonnes of carbon.
