A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Today I share with you the STAR WARS experience I have been able to design with 3DEXCITE tools. During the POTY 2K20 I presented you my spaceships with realistic rendering and animation made on an external software, impractical, long and tedious.
The 3DS teams then gave me the opportunity to test their tools present on the 3DExperience platform, one is always surprised by the diversity of tools it offers. The interdependence of objects is the strength of 3DEXP. I could not let the opportunity pass.
After the Workshop (very clear and understandable), 2 problems oppose my will to work :
- the storage space of my PC does not allow me to store the new RX 2021 version of 3DEXP.
- the graphic card of my student PC is not recognized.
After a long exchange with the IT department of my engineering school, I was able to get a more powerful PC to be able to carry out this project.
I know exactly what I want in my head, plans, light, funds... But the beginnings are complicated, I try to realize directly what I want but I come up against a management of the camera, animation, behaviors that I don't know enough. So when I see the E-workshop for the 5th time, this sentence makes sense in my head: "start by doing simple things". So I made several drafts with very simple examples so that I could then nested all the pieces of the puzzle. The tutorials present in the 3DEXCITE community also pointed me to certain steps such as rotating objects.
I used the planet studio tool to integrate into my scene a spatial environment that perfectly matches the theme.
I would have liked to learn more, to master the camera movements, the lights to achieve the most spectacular experience possible but I lacked skills in creative experience and time because I kept taking my classes at the same time.
I would like to thank all the employees who took care of us, always listening and with a view to make us succeed. It is very rewarding for a student to have the confidence of a company like this. We can only admire this kind of initiative in this professional world where young people need experience to find a job and you need a job to get experience .
