Hello, I am sharing my first work on SOLIDWORKS Simulation. In this study, I investigated the strain and deformation of a 1 meter long steel bar with a rectangular section of 20mm and 47mm, with an elastic modulus of 200GPa, under a load of P=10kN. Before starting the simulation, I manually calculated the normal tensile, strain and change in the length of the steel. The results I obtained from the simulation came out very close to the values in the manual calculations.
