SOLID Saturday- Bell Crank Lever Optimization

Bell Crank Lever: This component is mainly used to transfer the force at given angle. In Bell Crank Lever one point is pivoted and other two rotate around it. It has many applications but can be widely seen in the Push-Rod / Pull-Rod suspension systems of the Vehicles.

This SOLID Saturday we have the bell crank lever designed in the SOLIDWORKS and then optimized in Functional Generative Design App on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, which lets you validate your geometry considering design constraints and forces. and then allows you to topologically optimize your part. It became very easy to do this kind of inter-platform job with the help of SOLIDWORKS Connector on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. No need to exporting and importing of the parts to the different file formats. Also the parameters created in SOLIDWORKS can be imported to the platform which makes it more convenient as the part will be editable in 3DEXPERIENCE Platform itself.
