Todd TREIN has over 22 years of experience in the CAD and Design Industries and has been with Dassault Systemes for over 17 years. Todd has a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, and upon graduation, he went on to become an Applications Engineer for a SOLIDWORKS reseller in Chicago, Illinois. There he was responsible for Training, Technical Support, and Product Sales Demonstrations. Next, he had an opportunity where could utilize his SOLIDWORKS skills as a Design Engineer for the R&D Department at Weber-Stephen Products; designing Weber Grills. There he gained extensive experience in the entire product development process along with a multitude of disciplines: plastic part design, weldments, sheet metal, assembly production, etc. As a Design Engineer, he was responsible for taking napkin sketch ideas all the way to production. Missing the multitude of customer interactions and the opportunity to help many different customers in many different industries, Todd moved on to become a Senior Technical Sales Manager for SOLIDWORKS. Over the years, he has worked with a diverse and passionate customer base in improving their processes by implementing the SOLIDWORKS Portfolio of products.
