📌​​​​​​​ What is User Feature?

User Feature refers to a customizable and reusable design element created by the user. It allows users to define and create their own design features, such as extrude, holes, pockets, or complex shapes, which can be saved and reused in multiple projects. User feature enhance productivity and efficiency by eliminating the need to recreate the same design elements from scratch.

📌​​​​​​​ How one can use it?

Let’s take an example where one has to create a feature more than once in complex design.

But creating the features repetitively manually is very time consuming.

Efforts can be saved by using the “User Feature” command for it.

The Designer can extract any type of features and its properties with User Feature and replicate them easily.

The User Feature creates a KnowledgeTemplate node in the tree which consists of child nodes that store the various User References (user references means properties of the feature).

One can parametrize the dimensions of these User References according to the need.

These User References are created in a part but can be then instantiated in same part or different parts as well.
