I’m pleased to share my latest SOLIDWORKS project: a Ramadan Lantern.
In this design, I used SheetMetal Module and Weldments Module in SOLIDWORKS to ensure both precision and ease of fabrication. I also utilized Blocks for the decorations (stars and crescent shapes), allowing for quick adjustments and consistent detailing. After finalizing the model, I created animation and high-quality render using SOLIDWORKS Visualize, which really brings the lantern’s design to life. Throughout the process, I made sure the lantern would be manufacturable using CNC laser machines, CNC press brake machine and welding. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the design.
