Project of the Year 2020 - Numerical model of the index finger to predict the occurrence of joint disease and osteoarthritis

I participated in the global competition “Project of the Year 2020” with my project on “Numerical Modelling of the Index Finger during Daily Tasks to Predict the Occurrence of Joint Disease and Osteoarthritis”, developed with the Institute of Movement Sciences (Marseille, France).

This is a breakthrough in the field of hand biomechanics, useful for the understanding of joint diseases, the improvement of surgical procedures, and the development of innovative medical devices.
