We are currently developing a timeline for all assemblies within the Project Planning Tool but would like to see if it's possible to implement the following idea.
After an autogenerated naming system and transfer of files, we would want to integrate approval routes into the timeline. Once a design engineer wants to submit an assembly (the first step in an approval route), the subsequent sequence would involve checks from relevant team members. Once all approvals are deemed successful, the drawing would be released, which would in turn automatically update an associated Bill of Materials (BOM), a key step in preparing for manufacturing.
Additionally, we’re exploring whether it's possible to unlock specific assemblies (e.g., master assemblies) automatically after saving, to streamline the design process.
