I like to use an outlet with an on/off switch in the house, but I found one burns when I connect devices, such as the iron.
After checking the outlet parts and the assembly, I found they used 3 connecting parts (shown as part 2,3,4) in the electricity delivery process to fulfill the need to open and close the circuit. This makes 2 points of contact, which can cause small sparks when the parts move.
To reduce this risk, I suggest adjusting this mechanism to 2 parts with 1 contact point, as shown below.
I want to test if the new part can resist high current consumption without melting. Is there any module or role that can help me?
