This design is part of an academic study focused on optimizing propeller production using Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology with aluminum wire. WAAM allows for the production of complex, large-scale metal parts by depositing material layer by layer, making it an efficient method for such applications.
In this study, parameters like blade count, overall thickness, material used (aluminum), and layer thickness (5 mm) have been carefully considered. The goal is to achieve optimal durability, performance, and efficiency by fine-tuning these aspects.
WAAM technology not only accelerates the production process but also minimizes material waste, offering a sustainable solution. This study aims to explore the advantages of additive manufacturing and provide valuable insights for future designs.
