Hey there,
I'm Henrik, and I'm studying mechanical engineering. I'm currently writing my bachelor thesis and need Abaqus to perform some FEM analysis for it. I used to have the free version, but the resolution wasn't high enough to fulfill my needs (node restriction of 1000 nodes), so I bought the engineering student version yesterday. At the university, we also used Abaqus, and I wanted to continue using it because it's a program I'm already familiar with.
Here's the problem: I thought that by purchasing the student version, I would get a version similar to the free one but with increased node restrictions, yet I haven't found anything indicating this. Is it possible to download a full version of Abaqus with the student license? If not, where can I find Abaqus in the online app? I really don't have the time to learn a new program, and I need to import files from Creo (using STEP or similar formats, which worked in the free version).
Your help is really appreciated!
Greetings from Germany,
