Hi everybody,

I have been trying to run a stress test on a model that I imported (an STL file), and have so far been unsuccessful. I have searched the internet trying to find ways to do this, but all I am hearing is that I will have to rebuild the model. However, I once knew somebody who somehow bypassed this and ran the simulation using Ansys. I do not know what exactly he did, but I can't reach him now so I won't be able to ask him. However, I was wondering if any of you guys might know a clever way around having to rebuild complex models in order to run a static/stress-related simulation on it. Please let me know, thank you.
