How Can I Register My SOLIDWORKS Education Serial Number to Access MySolidWorks eCourses as an Instructor?

Hello,

I am a high school Engineering Design instructor, and my school has purchased a SOLIDWORKS Education license.

I was provided with instructions to create a MySolidWorks account and register the serial number associated with our school's education license to gain access to MySolidWorks for Students and Educators. However, I already had an existing MySolidWorks account linked to my 3DEXPERIENCE ID.

I have successfully logged into my account, but it currently shows my subscription type as "Guest." I have been unable to locate anywhere within my account settings or subscription page to enter or register the serial number provided to me.

I recently read that SOLIDWORKS has removed access barriers to its library of lessons and learning paths, making these resources available for free under Guest access, with the exception of eCourses.

While I appreciate that the lessons and learning paths are now freely accessible, I would also like to access the eCourses as an instructor, particularly to support my teaching and professional development.

My questions are:

  1. How can I register or associate my school's existing SOLIDWORKS Education serial number with my MySolidWorks account?
  2. Does our school's SOLIDWORKS Education license provide instructors with access to MySolidWorks eCourses?
  3. Is there a separate registration or verification process for educators who already have an existing MySolidWorks account?
  4. If the serial number cannot be registered directly through MySolidWorks, who should I contact to have the appropriate educational access activated?

I have tried following the registration instructions provided, but I keep being redirected to the MySolidWorks homepage without an option to enter my serial number.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance from other educators or SOLIDWORKS representatives who have encountered a similar situation.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!
