If you purchased 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Students, you have access to SOLIDWORKS functionality. With the SOLIDWORKS Connected app, you can work with SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies and drawings. My friends created a great video to help you get started. 

Watch the video on the "Become a 3D Designer" dashboard. SOLIDWORKS Connected app is 15 Gbytes - you got lots of great features - so let us help you during the installation process.

Click on the blue Compass in the upper left corner and select "Become a 3D Designer". Your dashboards might look different than mine, but you want to search for Become a 3D Designer dashboard to start and play the video.

What if you have a Mac, tablet or chrome book? You can access the browser-based CAD apps, SOLIDWORKS xDesign and SOLIDWORKS xShape. These apps allow you to create parts and assemblies all through a web browser.
