I was curious if anyone had any knowledge or tutorials on Macros or the Environmental Editor with CATIA 3dx? In the past with CATIA V5 I went through a few tutorials in order to "link" Vericut simulation software into CATIA V5 R21 with the creation of an internal "button" or function by creating or editing environmental variables with the Environmental Editor. This would then allow me to use Vericut functions within CATIA V5 with the click of a button. I have noticed that it is easy to link CATIA V5 or Solidworks with CATIA 3dx by the use of the "CATIA V5" or "Solidworks" apps located in my apps or in the roles section, but how do you go about writing your own environmental variables in order to run programs that aren't 3ds software? Has anyone every added functions or environmental variables within CATIA 3dx? Or is it possible like with CATIA V5? Thanks for any input you all might have! And Happy Friday!!!
