For Aakruti India 2025, our team worked on a challenge that is rarely discussed yet increasingly critical—brake-dust emissions. While often overlooked, this form of non-exhaust emission significantly contributes to urban air pollution and public-health concerns.

As a team @NM , @AS @KN and myself. we set out to understand the problem deeply, identify gaps in existing solutions, and design a concept that balances engineering innovation with real-world feasibility.

Over the course of the competition (sharing this as a late post), we progressed through in-depth research, brainstorming, and multiple design iterations, refining our approach using feedback and field insights. The experience pushed us to think beyond textbooks and approach the problem like practicing engineers.
