This was my first project in University as a fresh mechanical engineering student 2 yrs back
MAIN OBJECTIVE
To design a welding rest arm that offers enhanced functionality, durability, and safety. The proposed design will be simulated using advanced software to evaluate its performance under various welding conditions. The simulation will enable the identification of potential weaknesses and the optimization of the design to ensure superior performance.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
To identify the effect of welding on the human body.
To assess the solution to the effects of welding on the human body.
JUSTIFICATION
People who use the weld arm rest during prolonged welding are prone to less skeletal- muscular effects arising from prolonged welding compared to those who may not use it. Recommendations for the design of the weld arm rest shall be made towards copying up with the solution to solve skeletal muscular effects and to be able to carry out welding for a longer time.
