Archimedean Auger

Hello, I have designed an Archimedean Auger from SOLIDWORKS Connected. Invented by Archimedes, the Archimedes auger was used as a pump to raise water from a low level to a high level at the beginning of its invention, but today it is used as a turbine. The purpose of the turbine is to convert the potential energy gained during the flow of water from the auger into mechanical energy. Thanks to the flow of water, the rotating auger applies hydraulic pressure to the helical faces and creates a moment on the auger shaft, reducing the head, and as a result, mechanical energy is obtained.

In my design, which I made on Connected, I created the auger to ensure the flow of water by wrapping multiple spiral surfaces on a 6-meter cylindrical pipe. Then I designed a bed for the auger.
