Abaqus/Standard dynamic animation of a simple bolted structure

Curious about what's going on in this animation? 🤔💭

Created by Randy Marlow, he explains that this is an Abaqus/Standard dynamic animation of a simple bolted structure that freely vibrates by an impact. The point-of-view is a coordinate system attached to one end which is what makes the small impact object appear to move away while the structure vibrates in place. The displacements have been scaled to make the vibratory motion more apparent.

Pretty cool, right?
