Hello everyone,

I was wondering if CATIA 3dx had any options for changing background colors? Are there any "user preferences" or ways to change the "theme" from light to dark? Or how to get to it within CATIA 3dx? I know with some CAD/CAM based software it is possible and I was just wondering if CATIA had that option as well? Personally I like darker themes only because it is easier on the eyes after long periods of time looking at the screen. Does anyone have any input or know more about this subject? Thanks in advance!

On another note, I have noticed that when you have the "Preferences" open within CATIA and you search for something in the search bar it sometimes locks up and shows "(Not Responding)" on the top bar of the CATIA program beside "3DEXPERIENCE". Sometimes it goes away and refreshes and other times it minus's the entire program, like it crashed out but didn't. I didn't think to get a screenshot of it when it happened and it hasn't happened again yet. Anyway things act weird when you search for something in the "Preferences" of CATIA. Not really sure how to explain it. Maybe it is processing too much with the search command? It didn't completely "crash" and exit the program so I guess its not a big deal. The search option is an awesome addition though! It makes finding settings or preferences so much easier than with the V5 version! But there seem to be a lot more preferences and settings within 3dx also.
