3DExperience Blog:9

Hello,
As a member of TekyazInternTeam once more I continue with the 3DExperience Blog article.

Blog9

After I shared a design video in my last blog post, I realized that I used some commands that I hadn't mentioned before.

That's why, in this article, I will explain the commands that I used and did not explain in my previous Diamond design. Also, I will share a small design video again and touch on a few commands and features that I haven't mentioned before.

If you are ready, let's continue where we left off.

If I have to explain what I do for those who read it for the first time, in these articles I will explain the roles on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform chapter by chapter.s and ın these chapters .I will briefly explain the applications in that role and talk about what they do.In this way, I hope you have more information if you are interested in the past, or if you are seeing it for the first time, I hope you will be interested.

You can reach my previous articles by clicking the blog hashtag like that Blog.

Then let's start from Blog8 Diamond design. You can reach the Blog8 design video by clicking here:Blog8.

PART 1

The first command which I hadn't mentioned before is Plane Command.

Plane Command basically allows you to create a plane wherever you want while designing, as in its name.In this way, just like I use it.In this way, just like I used, you can assign a plane to the shape after creating it and you can draw on the shape again easily.

Then I used the Circular Pattern command.

In the Circular Pattern command, basically we are duplicating around a point, arc or plane. For this, I first drew our center line, which will be our middle point, around which we will duplicate. chose the part that I would duplicate first, and then the surface. After I entered the details I wanted, the duplication was completed.

Finally, after the design is finished. I gave color to my diamond with the Color command from the Tools section.
For this, I first set the Sets in the Color command so that the color of the whole shape changes, and then I choose a color.

PART 2

In my current Diamond 2 design video.

I used the CircumcSribed setting instead of Inscribed in the Polygon command because this command would be easier since I wanted to create 2 nested hexagons this time.

Then I used the Trim or Extend command to remove unnecessary places in my design. In this command, I can use it by clicking one by one or by holding it down. If I make a mistake and remove the wrong place while using this command, I can undo it by using the crtl+z command.

Finally, in order to assign materials to my design, I can assign the raw material I want to my design with the Material Browser command from the tools tab.

After all these processes are completed, I can look at my design from different angles by clicking the chair icon on the top right of my screen or using my crtl+mouse wheel.

Please don't forget to watch the Diamond 2 Design video and check the Blog8 Diamond video before read firs part.

I'm waiting for your feedback. Please feel free to comment.

Thank you for taking the time to read this far, I hope it was helpful for you. I plan to share these Blog posts in my freetimes if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
