This first-of-a-kind project truly illustrates how the virtual world improves and enhances the real world. Here, technology is applied with care and empathy and places the patient's well-being at the heart of the experience. Utilizing VR, the VORTHEx project provides a 1:1 immersive radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients to ensure a successful experience during the actual procedure.

The Accuray Cyberknife robot was ​​​​​​​designed and developed using Solidworks and Simulia and the team used 3DEXCITE Creative Experience to bring the immersive treatment to life.
