While working on my other project, I wanted to make the aircraft door openable. For the door to move, its origin must be at the hinge center. I used 3D Actors to achieve this. (This process is manual and can sometimes be time-consuming; perhaps the origin could be automatically centered based on edge/face selection as a development feature.) Opening the door isn't difficult, but in real life, a mechanism is needed to open it. My model had components that formed the mechanism. After making the necessary origin changes, I positioned all the components forming the mechanism connected to the door so that they would align with the door's movement every 20 degrees, and I assigned keys to these positions in the animation window. It took some time, but I got the result I wanted.
