I'm creating a spreadsheet that will need to have the entire weight of an assembly for the purposes of calculating total shipping weight(s). I have approximately 190 configurations all with different values for weight. I know you can evaluate the mass for each configuration, but this is ridiculously time consuming. I also know you can add a configuration specific property for mass, to show up in a BOM. But again, I don't know of a feature that would allow you to add that property to all configurations. It seems to me like Solidworks would have a relatively easy time parsing out this information, and the utility should exist. But I also know as inclusive as Solidworks can be...sometimes simple information isn't so easy to obtain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
