Good morning All,

I am running Solidworks 2021 sp5.1 on a custom built PC and I am getting consistently slow to terrible performance of Solidworks in all areas (drawings, parts, and assemblies). From the time of save, rebuild or edit, the reload time is very slow. I have tried so many ideas and nothing has worked and I now am seeking help,

Below are all the things I have done to this point. Does anyone have another idea to try?

Solidworks settings:
-Adjusted HLR/HLV resolution
-Turned on/off enhanced graphic performance setting
-Turned on/off large assembly model and adjusted visual settings.

Windows:
-Changed virtual memory
-Changed GDI Object limit
-Changed appearance settings via system properties>performance options
-Tried different graphics card driver versions
-Turned off windows fast boot
-Turned off antialiasing in NVidia control panel
-Ensured integrated graphics control is not active

Bios:
-Since the cpu is a I7-10700K (3.8Ghz base), I added a modest over clock to the cpu of 4.2Ghz
-changed memory to run in XMP
-Ensured PCI slot is running in gen3
