Door handles are the most common point of contact for the spread of viruses. Therefore I have an idea of a low-cost easy to make door handle disinfectant. It is a conceptual design open to suggestions for its working and feasibility. It is actuated through simple door handle rotation. A string attached at the tip of the door handle frees the pipe flow and dispenses sanitizer/disinfectant on the door handle. The whole design can be 3d printed. It can be placed at doors which sees maximum inflow or outflow of patients/doctors.
The design is based on the normal IV drip flow control mechanism.
I would be happy to answer any questions related to its working.
Thanks.
