For many years I was part of a big customer. Now that I am part of the DS group, I want to share what my family is doing right now:

We decided to help some of the health care workers in our area with this project (face shields).

We have designed all the parts using SOLIDWORKS and then directly manufactured the parts and assembled them in our home machine workshop.
This was a great project for our family while we are all at home together.
All materials were acrylic for the first revision and PVC foam for the second. For the clear ones we used PETG. Some of the material has been purchased or donated by supporters.

So far we have manufactured and delivered hundreds of these to Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women's Mother-Baby unit at the Medical Center in Downtown Houston, Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital Nurses, Houston Medical Center and many others. This work is ongoing.
