Design & Simulation Projects (Affiliated with Dr-Ing. Irfan Ahmed, Associate Prof, University of Kassel, Germany):

  1. Design, Construction and CFD Analysis of a Single-Stage Propeller for Fixed Wing UAV 

    A Single-Stage Propeller was adapted from QBlade using Blade Element Method. Using Slicing Methods, it was transferred to SolidWorks for analyzing the Structural (Aerodynamic Loads) using SolidWorks Simulation. A basic Flow Model was simulated using SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Later on, CFD Analysis was run using Simulia for better verification of obtained results.

  2. Design and Numerical Validation of a Helical Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger for Enhanced Heat Transfer

    A complex structure Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger was modeled using SolidWorks and assembly parts. Numerical investigations were carried out after running the model in SolidWorks Flow Simulation. In second case, I added Helical Baffles on the model, which impacted on the Heat Transfer analysis increasing the LMTD, Heat Flux and Surface Area conduction. Later, it was visualized and re-simulated for better accuracy using Simulia.

  3. Design, Numerical Investigation and Comparison of Toroidal Propeller with Single-stage and Double-stage Counter Propellers.

    In this Project, I used SolidWorks to model three propeller geometry. Extracting NACA 4410, two distinctive Propeller blades were generated. Another profile was created using Surfacing for Toroidal Propeller. Using SolidWorks Simulation, the aerodynamic loads were analyzed. In the outcome, Toroidal Propeller had greater Lift with reduced Drags. On the other hand, Double-stage propeller scaled to a greater Gliding ratio due to changing the Angles and Counter section of the blade.

I believe, my consistent involvement, teaching contributions and academic expertise make me strong candidate for the "3DEXPERIENCE EDU Student" Champion program. I would be truly honored to represent all my Social Clubs, University as well as my Country under this global recognition. I will be able to continue and expand the reach and impact of 3DEXPERIENCE within the student community hereby. It will also help me to boost my career and get a plus-point for proving my skills and contributions in the industry-level.
9. How do you want to contribute to the community? First of all, what makes me very worried is about the less involvement of 3DEXPERIENCE Platform in my country, compared to other countries. As a 3DEXPERIENCE EDU Champion, this will be help me to grow and motivate the newbie students to get involved and start their journey in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. 

Secondly, I can expand my outreach organizing more developed and focused workshops, free-learning courses in the clubs and motivate other students to take part in real-life innovation challenges (also to mention about AAKRUTI Innovation Competition). I can empower my classmates and fresher students of my faculty to master Dassault Systemes tools, as I'm already good at this. But being a Champion, will highly increase my confidence too! 

By connecting academia with industry through 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, I aim to build a stronger collaborations where every aspiring students from my reach- can design, simulate and innovate with proper standards.
