Let's Design Challenge - 🏆The Evolution of Glory – Replica World Cup Trophy

🛠️ Project Overview This project presents a three-dimensional reproduction of the most coveted trophy on the planet: the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Going beyond a simple visual reproduction, the goal was to utilize my knowledge in CAD, CAE, and rendering. Using the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem, I modeled, simulated, and rendered this global icon.

1. Advanced 3D Modeling (SOLIDWORKS) The initial challenge was to capture the organic lines and fluid movement of the human figures supporting the globe in the original trophy. Technique: Using SOLIDWORKS, I combined advanced surface modeling techniques with solid features to achieve the exact volumetry and geometric balance of the trophy.

2. Aerodynamic and Fluid Dynamics Analysis (Fluid Dynamics Engineer) To elevate the project beyond a mere conceptual piece, I subjected the World Cup trophy to a high-performance virtual testing environment using the Fluid Dynamics Engineer function (3DEXPERIENCE / SIMULIA platform). The Test: I simulated the aerodynamic behavior of the trophy under high-speed airflow external conditions, replicating the strong wind exposure in a monumental stadium or wind tunnel.

3. Photorealism and Visual Impact (SOLIDWORKS Visualize) The final step brought the digital design to life with photorealism using SOLIDWORKS Visualize, resulting in images that harmoniously combine engineering and art.

💡 Conclusion This project demonstrates a complete end-to-end modern engineering workflow (CAD → CAE → Rendering). The seamless integration of SOLIDWORKS, Fluid Dynamics Engineer, and Visualize proves that the passion for football and respect for the iconic design of the World Cup can be perfectly translated through cutting-edge science, technology, and computer graphics.
