So, there are instances when you are dealing with a pattern which takes much of regeneration time especially for product designers when they are experimenting with iterations.
This method doesn't reduce the rebuild time but what it does is it simply allows you to edit pattern and allowing to see the preview as you change parameters. The only catch is you keep the pattern feature suppressed.
- Suppress the pattern feature. Here "LPattern1"
- Edit the pattern feature and change parameters. Turn on "Partial Preview" and not "full preview" as it will consume more time since it will consider calculation of parameters like location, start and end conditions.
Exit the feature. This is where the major time is saved. Suppressed feature won't rebuild and you will exit the pattern very quickly to get back to modeling. If you are happy with final numbers, simply unsuppress the pattern feature.
