Session Abstract

Imagine sitting down at an all-inclusive restaurant where every dish is Michelin-star quality, but designed for everyone to enjoy. That’s how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform serves SOLIDWORKS customers: a continuous flow of manufacturing solutions, connected end-to-end for SMBs. We’ll begin with a starter course — a live demo where my co-moderator requests a design change, I update the part in SOLIDWORKS, and he shows how naturally the machining program is adjusted. This sequence highlights continuity in action. The menu then unfolds: a perfectly cut steak for machining, where precision is key; delicate sushi for robotics, requiring flawless coordination; and a plate of spaghetti for factory flow and process engineering, turning complexity into clarity. Dessert arrives as a layered pastry for MES/MOM, where planning and execution deliver lasting value. And between courses, a molecular gastronomy surprise reveals how Generative AI adds bold new flavors to tomorrow’s manufacturing.
