Hi,

I’m seeing an issue where Word or Excel files stored in our SolidWorks PDM vault become unresponsive when opened from the Recent Documents section within the Office applications. 

The PDM Office add‑in is not installed or enabled. When opening the file directly from the vault path, Word or Excel freezes for a while. However, if I save the same file to my desktop, it opens immediately without any delay. Has anyone else experienced this or found a recommended workaround?
