I'm doing a sim of coverging ( from base to tip of cone ) flow in a conical annulus. One of the goals is finding the normal force on the face of the cone ( along the cone's axis in the z direction in my case ) due to the pressure distribution ( nearly axisymmetric ) acting on the face of the cone. I was getting correct ( i.e., they made sense ) results before, but recently the results ( 2 pounds, and in the opposite and wrong direction ) are nowhere near to what I was getting before ( 78 pounds ). I checked to see if I made a change by mistake, and deleted and recreated the goal, but the same problem still exists. I suppose I could use the SOLIDWORKS Simulation Cleaning Utility, but really don't want to do that if it wipes out the entire project and I have to start over. I also deleted the files associated with results before starting a new run. No help there either.

The pressures within the cavities leading to the conical annulus still make perfect sense as before. But as the solver is working, the normal force on the cone makes no sense! I'm using SWX 2021, if that matters.

Any thoughts on what might be going wrong and how to correct it? Or has the solver for force somehow not working?
