New to the Electrical Routing feature. Working on making wiring harnesses that have cables with multiple cores inside of them. After struggling for a week and a half i have finally completed a very basic 3D wiring harness assembly. I was hoping turning it 2D would be as simple as hitting the flatten route button.... but its a complete birds nest and the tools to untangle it are extremely insufficient and unwieldy. Is there a way to manually just sketch my own 2D flattened view linked to my assembly? Or does anyone have suggestions on what i should do if i'm just way overcomplicating my process? I will include the diagram of what I'm recreating, my 3D assembly and then the nest that was autogenerated from the flattened route with a million extra pivot points and segments. Also when you're editing the flatten view it would be SO helpful if i could tell which line segments were the white wire, black wire, or cable (that contains both wires) so that when i'm untangling it i don't have to switch between configurations constantly.
