Hi everyone,

I’m working on a silicone project and I need to design a mold for an overmolding process. My starting geometry is an STL file and I am struggling to convert the STL into a workable solid/surface for the Mold Tools.

When I try to import as a 'Solid Body', the software often crashes due to high facet count (I'm using SolidWorks Education 2025). Could someone help mePlastics And Mold Design
